the reason we are struggling is because we don't have a running game that FRIGHTENS other teams......that's what indeed this all boils down to. it's putting far too much pressure on our offensive line, which in turn puts way too much pressure on stafford's shoulders, and he clearly can't handle it..... he is only 23 after all....(sometimes we forget this i think) but we have MUCH BIGGER ISSUES i am starting to realize.

it knows, it fucking KNOWS we need a running game to consistently win, and inch by fucking inch it's being wiped away. i thought the damned thing was done with after the first 5 games, but now i see it was by design.......it only wanted us to get our hopes sky fucking high because we all know we finally have talent upon this football team, therefore so it would be ALL THE MORE HORRIFIC when things come tumbling down. (as per usual) the son of a bitch is sadistic in this way.....

CJ shoulda had 3 TD's this week, and the only reason he didn't, is because Stafford couldn't deliver the ball to him.

2 weeks in a row we had the ball with time left on the clock and timeouts to go down and win the game. And 2 weeks in a row, Stafford layed an egg.

I'm not discounting his ability to get the job done - and I'm still a believer. But he has cost us 2 games, and needs to learn from them. If he does, he'll be better for it.

Pay attention to Twitter also, Pat Caputo just wrote an article that pretty much plagiarizes all my tweets from about the 3rd quarter on. Dude is a fraud.

But bottom line - Stafford needs to be better, and if he's not, then games like today are going to be the norm. Look at what Slick wrote - San Fran and Atlanta came in and put in coverage packages to force Stafford to beat us; He didn't get the job done.

yes, the niners and the falcons had great game plans, but if you watched this game, it was boneheaded play after fucking boneheaded play which truly beat us.....hell, i believe the winning play in this football game was scored because of a blown coverage by houston right before halftime. and what indeed was the final margin in this contest?.... that's right 1 friggin' touchdown.....now, it didn't take preparation and planning in that instance, houston had the coverage and he just plain whiffed on it.

People are bitching (because we started 5-0). But you shouldn't be. Most people here predicted 8-8, 9-7 and 10-6 seasons. We most likely should be 3-4 or 4-3 right now. We shouldn't have comeback from 20 down to beat Minny and Dallas on the team. This team has holes and we all knew that. The "same ole' Lions" crap is just that...crap. We do have talent now. Stafford has to play better. We go as he goes. If he plays well, we'll win. If he's below average then we'll lose. I'll start to worry if we lose to Denver and Tebow.

One thing that has been annoying and contributed directly to our last 2 losses is getting hosed on a couple of phantom calls and untimely penalties. We have to score TD"s in the red zone. Everyone on offense seems lethargic right now.

How about Stafford throwing Behind CJ on the Endzone try from the 5 yardline? CJ beat his guy inside, nobody there, stafford throw it 2 yards behind him and CJ still almost makes an amazing play, but it's broken up. On the next play he lofts a ball up to Titus Young on a WR Option route (Stafford mis-read it) that should have been intercepted. We're lucky to get 3 on that drive.
