and it fucking begins......

Anybody else wanna bitch at me and preach the "Glass Half Full" bullshit about Stafford and his shotty footwork?

Dude has been a fucking trainwreck the last 2 weeks.

Go ahead, tell me I'm disloyal. Tell yourself it was the O-Line.

CJ shoulda had 3 TD's this week, and the only reason he didn't, is because Stafford couldn't deliver the ball to him.

2 weeks in a row we had the ball with time left on the clock and timeouts to go down and win the game. And 2 weeks in a row, Stafford layed an egg.

I'm not discounting his ability to get the job done - and I'm still a believer. But he has cost us 2 games, and needs to learn from them. If he does, he'll be better for it.

Pay attention to Twitter also, Pat Caputo just wrote an article that pretty much plagiarizes all my tweets from about the 3rd quarter on. Dude is a fraud.

But bottom line - Stafford needs to be better, and if he's not, then games like today are going to be the norm. Look at what Slick wrote - San Fran and Atlanta came in and put in coverage packages to force Stafford to beat us; He didn't get the job done.

problem is..for us to be successful stafford has to be great every week for our offense to score...for instance..matt ryan and alex smith haven't looked very good at all against us..yet they won..because the rest of the team....special teams is becoming very concerning and is costing our defense points every single week

Not true.

Atlanta didn't put any sort of coverage emphasis on Pettigrew, or Titus Young. Why? Because they don't think Stafford can beat them going to those guys - they were afraid of getting beat on the big play by CJ.

What's scary about that is we left points on the board to CJ.

He didn't have to have a great game today to win - he only needed to complete 2 more passes.

Tom Jackson just said on ESPN that depending on the severity of the injury the lions should start looking to move forward without him...like for good...lol

Tom Jackson is the kgb of ESPN. He's a tard.

And my displeasure on here for the last 2 weeks specifically with Stafford isn't implying he needs to go - because that's just lunacy. But there's no question; he needs to play better.

If Hill has to start next week, I'm good with that. He spreads it around better he'll do a much better job making teams pay for ignoring everyone but CJ

i hear ya......bomber, but we MUST REMEMBER stafford's only 23 years old, he has not arrived yet......yeah, i'm mad as hell at him right now too, but i also feel lack of a running threat is putting too much pressure upon him and now he's rushing his throws because he's now getting hit nearly after every pass play. no matter what game plan these road teams have brought against us the past few weeks, if stafford plays just decently we win BOTH OF THOSE GAMES without a doubt......still at the heart of the matter lies the fact that us not being able to run the ball is a HUGE concern right now.

Sorry we ran the ball today 20 times for an average of 5.2 ypc

That's no woeful. It's productive.

We completed 5.0 yards per pass and that boys and girls, is fucking horrific.

hes arrived like 3 or 4 times....he just keeps get carted off the field.

we ran a little, but by no means was it threatening to the falcons. we couldn't run it consistently, that's for damn fucking sure......no matter how we slice it, lack of a run threat is placing far too much pressure on stafford AND HE CAN'T HANDLE IT. we have to run the ball, bomber.....

I don't buy that. Other than Stafford "CAN'T HANDLE IT" as you said.

Green Bay was 24th last year in rushing. How'd their season go? They're 19th this year (we're 22nd)

But you're right, Stafford can't handle it. That I agree with. At least with what I've seen this year.

And don't look too hard at the record, because they barely beat a horrific Minnesota team, and send you thank you cards to Tony Romo for the Dallas game.

l the lions again get NOTHING in the end. (when have you EVER IN YOUR FUCKING LIFE SEEN THAT BEFORE?)

Uhh...yeah, I couldn't help but remember waay back in the early 70s, when the Lions traded WR Ron Jessie to the LA Rams for their RB, Cullen Bryant.

Bryant did NOT want to play for the Lions, and refused to report, after the trade had been completed. He challenged the trade in court, believe it or not, and WON. So the Rams wound up with BOTH Jessie and Bryant.

The Lions got zero-zip-zilch-nada-nothing in return that season...but IIRC, I think that they much later the following off-season might have been given a "consolation prize" being a lower round draft pick...haha!!

:-[

If we don't beat Denver next week i will blow the world up... I am just so frustrated with the last two games...

number 1 : we ARE NOT the green bay packers!!! their o-line absolutely shits ALL OVER ours. therefore we must run the ball.... somehow.....just enough to keep defenses honest, because we JUST CAN'T keep sending stafford back to throw with the opposing team consistently coming with their ears pinned the hell back......HE'S GOING TO GET FUCKING BROKEN IN HALF THAT WAY......(he may damn well already might have been.....)

What's funny about that, is that Chad Clifton isn't even playing. Trust me when I say it's less about the O-line, and more about the guy behind it.

Rodgers knows how to use the pocket to his advantage, and keep his eyes downfield when he's moving around.

Stafford doesn't.

Actually Bulaga is out too

The only thing that says to me is that the Packers backup offensive linemen would be starters in Detroit.
