When did Muskegon move to division two? I could have sworn they were D1 when I was in high school.

Looks like 2002 to 2003 season.. They went from 1669 kids to 1351..Their numbers went back and forth for a few years but since 2009 the numbers keep falling. Heck it at 1157 which is this season the are closer to division 3 then division 1 ( I think) now which would not be good for that division although Like Muskegon who can play on D1 I think Zeeland west would give them a decent game if they were ever in D2.... But I think the Big Reds will end up in d2 and ZW in d3 and both will probably make the title games..

The 256 teams that make the playoffs all get put in computer and get put into their division by size... Last year the Big Reds had 1151.. I believe 4 of the 5 playoff schools they played were bigger numbers wise then the Big reds..
