I hope in the future they make more Divison for basketball based on enrollment. As expected in the first district game 19-1 Byron Center (1145) lost to 18-3 East Kentwood (2673) by 7 points. BC’s only two losses were to EK. I heard on the Huge radio show when he was talking to the mshaa Michigan commissioner that they may expand baseball and basketball from 4 based on enrollment like the 8 division in football.

Also huge upset in the district opener in Menominee as the 20-0 #3 ranked Maroons lost to 7-13 Gladstone 46-45 to end their season.
