There has been some speculation that Lowell and Muskegon may end up in D3... Holy hell of a division is that happens..

Some really good games this week in west Michigan.


Muskegon 8-0 at Zeeland East 8-0... This is for the Ok Black league title. And both are top ranked in D2 and D 3 respectively...


Hastings 6-2 at South Christian 5-3... Both are in second place (3-1) in the Ok Gold and South needs a win to secure a automatic bid although at 5-4 they probably will get in

Lowell 7-1 at Grand Rapids Christian 7-1.. Both are 4-0 in the OK white so this is for the conference crown. Lowell is ranked # 3 in D 2 and GRC is ranked number 2 in Division 3.


Northview 7-1 at West Catholic 5-3... Both are 4-0 in the Ok Bronze and this is for the title plus Catholic needs the win for its sixth win to secure a playoff spot.

Byron Center 5-3 at Holland Christian 4-4.. BC needs this game for its sixth win of the season and with Hamilton's upset of Zeeland West last week it threw the Ok green into a three way tie for first place between ZW, BC, and Holland Christian who are all 3-1 in the ok Green, Zeeland West 5-3 will win verses a 0-8 Holland team this week and the winner of the BC verses HC game will get a share of the title.. BC may have enough points to get in at 5-4...Its win over Northview is really helping its playoff points but it will would close..

My nephews team is now 5-3.. Mason has feasted on sub .500 teams for all of its wins. And now they have to travel to the # 2 team in Division 4 this week 8-0 Crosswell Lexington. My nephew was hit late in the game last week and had a concussion so his season may be over as he has to sit out this week.. My sister has had three sons go through Mason since 2007 and they had only one losing season which was a 1-8 campaign in 2007.. A total of 41-20 with one game to go is ok in my book. Each nephew has been on a conference title team... Who knows maybe they pull a shocking upset this week and make the playoffs again.
