the requirement for itunes is insane. That may be my biggest complaint along with customization. I prefer my android where all I have to do is transfer the files and forget about it. The hardware is always good looking, but some of these other companies have caught up in that area.

You basically can't touch their software or everything breaks. Bad system design but they are so insulated they can basically ignore any calls to change it.

Frankly, I cannot believe they have been as successful as they are doing business that way.

Had my Mac computer for 5 year with no problems although I do not play games which I heard can be tougher on mac computers. Plus I am a computer idiot so I am sure it is laughing at my sometimes for the few things I do on it.. I just like that you never have to worry about virus software.

Solid description. Apple tends to draw a specific culture. They do acquire some outside that culture, but there is definitely an accurate lifestyle stereotype for people who prefer Apple.
