He was something. I remember when they won the championship my son wanted a Ben Wallace Jersey . Wish we still had it :/ . Heck he was only 9 if I remember it right.
What a great title in 2004. Such a hard working team. Sadly it feels like the Piston had a shot at a dynasty if a few things would hav gone different. Or maybe I should say just one thing . Drafting anybody other the Darko . If Joe drafts Anthony, Bosh or Wade the pistons win multiple titles. Heck even Kaman at 6 would have been better then Darko. David West at 18. Darko, my stomach just turned. Joe had a few missteps along the way which also included giving away Chauncey for Iverson.

Would rather have retained Mehmet Okur than drafting Darko.

you never know what would have happened if they didn't draft Darko. If they took Bosh they probably never trade for Sheed. Without Sheed, they might never win a single championship...let alone the hypothetical multiple championships some of you are talking about.
