True, but our idiots are still smarter than theirs ...just not as good at football

Get StartedMy nephew has a 3.6 and a 32 ACT and was on Michigan's wait list. He decided to let them dangle and went elsewhere. If he were even a college golfer a 3.0 and 28 would have gotten him into Michigan. It's irresponsible at minimum to admit kids to college with a reading level far lower than I personally had as a three-year-old. Even at ND the players have handlers who make sure they get to class and complete their studies, for the players who, I imagine, are of the most value to the program and are least willing or qualified to succeed there.
often sending a couple (well written, error-free) letters asking them to re-consider and re-affirming your desire to attend can get you off the wait list.
I'm not sure how much the test has changed over the years, but they're saying 16 is college literate. With an average of 18.75, many fall under that bar.
...or were you saying that 18.75 is too low? You think it's BS because you expect higher or lower?
He's going to a great school that wants him. And it's where he wants to go, so it's Michigan's loss.
I'm glad your precious little snowflake nephew found a place that didn't offend his delicate sensibilities by wait-listing him.
It was not that big a deal. But he'd have been shoe-in if he was a minority.
it's not fair!
You misunderstand the intent. It does not matter. Clear?
