Austin Jackson and other 3b champs

Good job Austin. Crawford was like 2nd highest, well not counting those 19th century guys.

Jake Wood Tigers 2B in 1961 leading the league in triples and iirc strikeouts.
You guys talking about singles and strikeouts reminded me of him, like Jackson, he had great speed, had some stolen bases too that year, but steadily went downhill the next several. The pitchers adjusted to him, he didn't make the same adjustments. Hope Jackson can.

I hope so too. His babip have been good and if not for so many damn strikeouts. He needs to cut it down by 50 next season.

AJ should not come close to 100 Ks in a season.

I think Jackson should spend the entire off season learning how to bunt. He should try once a game for a bunt single. Then, with the threat of a bunt he will have the corner infielders in and will get some cheap hits. His swing should look more like Santiago's and less like DY's.

I think there is something wrong with his eyes. He misses the pitch on the outside corner almost always.
