Get Startedit's been a while since i've read a "Buckeye math" thread... those ones where their fans select a criteria that puts them ahead of Michigan, then declare that is the most important measure of football success (not, you know, winning games...)
used to see these a lot more regularly on the ol' espn boards.
"Well, sure Michigan has more wins, but if you eliminate the periods of time where they had more success than Ohio State, you'll see Ohio State has more wins and is therefore a better program.
No I've never heard of this "logic" you speak of. Is it something I should see a doctor about?"
I think the AP was the source of that "all time top 25 poll"

eh FWIW, We should have 3, and ND should only have 7. look up the 1947 college football season. we played a tougher SOS than Notre Dame, beat common opponents more thoroughly and handed USC its worse-ever defeat, 49-0 in the Rose Bowl.
also, college football has been played since 1879, you understand, and the AP Poll has only been around since 1934. maybe... aw nevermind.
