most emotional speech (including the anguish and pain of the bad years including the booing, as well the good of this year)

many of them expressed greatest praise for hoke and his staff and some even thanked brandon for hiring hoke


no scout team speeches (whihc is too bad as some of those were the funniest)

The speeches were halted at one point to conduct an auction of a signed football from the night game against Notre Dame.

As the bidding escalated, one of the players raised his hand to bid, with the price scale already at more than $1,000.

Auctioneer Frank Beckmann, the voice of the Michigan Radio Network, responded: "Frank Beckmann auctioning a UTL football, and a player raised his hand. Beckmann: "This is not Ohio State. You do not have the money."
