Carson says if the party leadership subverts the will of voters, Trump won't be the only one leaving the party. I hope this all blows up. The Republican party needs to hit the reset button. I hope there's a schism, a 3rd party forms, and I hope they both get destroyed. I don't have a lot of faith that what emerges from the ashes would be the moderate conservative party I think we need opposite the Dems, but there's no way we're getting that party the way things are going now.

Republitards like him cannot leave the Republitard party. they will always be Republitards.

For being a party that is usually projected as the tough guys, they have turned into a bunch of crybabies. "Wahhh, the debate is too hard! You're not being fair! If you don't love me, I'll leave you!"

This shit is getting old. Grow the fuck up.

This is just further indication that Carson either has no idea what he's talking about, or he's engaging in meaningless rhetoric.

How does a brokered convention occur? No single candidate has gained enough votes to carry a majority of delegates throughout the primary process at the conclusion of the first ballot.

It wouldn't be the result of anybody subverting the will of anyone.

Everyone has been tied at 0 all this time. I think Iowa and New Hampshire happen first week of Feb. Until that time not a single vote will have been cast.

I seriously have my doubts that that many voters will actually vote for either Trump or Carson when standing alone in the voting booth.

I won't believe that Carson or Trump can actually win a single primary until I see it.

Whatever it takes to get your name on the front page. Trump has too many headlines, so lets top his antics or at least join them.

I agree the GOP is in need of a reset and breaking it into multiple factions/new parties would be a good start because then the moderates can finally escape from the crazy extremists.

Step 1: Rep party splits. Only way to get elected is to be Dem.
Step 2: People that would otherwise be moderate Republicans run as Blue Dog Democrats.
Step 3: Blue Dogs break away, becoming the de facto new Republican Party.

What are the odds? 1:1,000? 1:1,000,000?

We'll see.

Neither Trump nor Carson has anything to do with the rift in the party that led to the departure of Boehner.

The Democrats have their own crap to deal with; right now there is a big conflict between democratic chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the vice chair newcomer Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii.

EDIT: If anyone would have the dirt on the Dems, it's these guys.

About 30 years ago back in my more strident libertarian days I ran to beat the local Republican precinct delegate.

I lost to a guy who got a lot of support from people watched Pat Robertson on television.

Still I did get some votes.

That means as of right now more Republicans have ever voted for me in a Republican election then have ever voted for Trump or Carson.

That's great but I think that's a record that will be broken soon.

I hate politics. I understand it's important to our country, but everything I see or hear is a joke out of any presidential candidate. I trust no one and really have no idea who I'd consider voting for in any election.

However the way this country is why not let Trump be president. Then when he's done maybe Michael Jordan will follow.
