Blazers 98 Pistons 86 Final

No clue when this team will get their next win.

If I had to take a total shot of the dark, they'll get one at home against Indiana. Tack on another 6 consecutive losses before that.

This burning is necessary. It was basically floating along in outer space with no direction. At least after a fire you can rebuild.

Agree 100%. It's overdue in fact. This should have been blown up years ago and it might not have had to get this ugly. Now, we're basically betting on the ping pong balls to fall our way, hoping Drummond can hang in there and develop while we find talent to put around him, hoping we can trade away Moose and others for value, and hoping that SVG can pull us out of this mess. Not a great spot to be in. This team likely won't be worth watching for another couple years at best.

I gotta be honest at this point, I would also consider trading away Drummond for a high first round pick. If this team can amass draft picks (top 3, top 10), couple 2nd round picks, get rid of Jennings, Smith (easier said than done I know), then you are in business.

If they don't trade Drummond and have a top 3 pick, they need Emmanuel Mudiay. They need a PG who can distribute and score.

I think Drummond or Monroe need to go...probably not both though.

Moose is gone after the year, so dump him now for whatever we can get.

If he plays great (his numbers have been good so far) the Pistons will have to look at trading him. Ideally, they could get a 1st rounder out of somebody during the season so they can continue this tank effort. The other option is a sign and trade after the season but those usually come with older, high contract guys coming back.
