Bojan Bogdanovic extension

so, the Pistons are currently 8-22 and their best player is out for the season. Bogdanovic is playing really well and under contract for 2 more seasons after this one. He is probably going to be one of the most talked about trade pieces at this deadline.

Could they get a late first rounder for him and is it worth it trading him ?

First, due to the cap, the Pistons would have to take on salary for a trade to work. It would most likely include a first of some sort, plus players. This is why my question is a good one. How much do you trust the current GM? If he is as good as some think, he should be able to add a young player that is currently in the NBA that has some upside, a worthless vet with salary to make it work, and a first round draft pick. Hopefully the draft pick is just an asset that would allow the Pistons to maneuver in upcoming drafts or use for a future trade when they are in the hunt for either the playoffs...or dare I say in contention for an eastern conference title.

It's definitely a tough decision. He is currently the best player on the team and fits what they need (outside shooting), but will he be around in/when the turn the corner? If I were the GM, I would definitely listen to all offers and let it be known that he could be available for the right price.
