I am not saying I am not happy in having Iggy. I am saying by definition, that probably was not what Mr Clean meant when he said "impact".

Get StartedI am not saying I am not happy in having Iggy. I am saying by definition, that probably was not what Mr Clean meant when he said "impact".
Max Scherzer has a better year than Verlander
Austin Jackson is the most valuable tiger this year based on WAR.
Tigers trade for a major impact midfle infielder by July.
So Iggy hasn't had a major impact?I get Scherzer is better than Verlander.
Jackson IS NOT the MVP based on WAR, not even close.
So that leaves Iggy. Major Impact Middle Infielder...not hardly. That would be Cano or Tulo. By July = April, May or June
I appreciate the 1.5 response. But if 2 of 3, why not just say he got all three right?
So Iggy hasn't had a major impact?
Certainly his defense can have a major impact, from one game to the next. But, as an overall player, Iggy has not had a major impact in Detroit (or at least so far this year).
All of this is about semantics, or at least about definitions. It would be like defining MVPs or even Cy Young. It depends on the criteria and what attribute or attributes you are focusing on.
So Iggy hasn't had a major impact?
Justin upton had a better year than torii hunter btw.
Probably. But at least DET did not have to give up anyone to get him.
