Bold tiger predictions.

I am not saying I am not happy in having Iggy. I am saying by definition, that probably was not what Mr Clean meant when he said "impact".

Like I said, I have no idea what he meant..

Max Scherzer has a better year than Verlander
Austin Jackson is the most valuable tiger this year based on WAR.
Tigers trade for a major impact midfle infielder by July.

I get Scherzer is better than Verlander.

Jackson IS NOT the MVP based on WAR, not even close.

So that leaves Iggy. Major Impact Middle Infielder...not hardly. That would be Cano or Tulo. By July = April, May or June

I appreciate the 1.5 response. But if 2 of 3, why not just say he got all three right?

So Iggy hasn't had a major impact?

So Iggy hasn't had a major impact?

Certainly his defense can have a major impact, from one game to the next. But, as an overall player, Iggy has not had a major impact in Detroit (or at least so far this year).

All of this is about semantics, or at least about definitions. It would be like defining MVPs or even Cy Young. It depends on the criteria and what attribute or attributes you are focusing on.

Exactly, so your definition on impact player will be different than mine or gotime or someone else..

I would say he will have, but I would not say he has had.

We have lost production at SS, probably for the overall good in the long run though.

I think Iggy is a major impact middle infielder, but his major impact will be measured over time rather than in the short term. In the context I believe it was written, he was referring to a player like Rebbiv said, a player like Cano, Tulo, or Segura.

Major impact is starter with above average all around production in my eyes. Which jose is.

Durty: I'll go 2 of 3. And the Cleveland observation. I say a track record is developing.

Upton in right and torii in left wouldve been a good combo. Bj was already signed by the time justin was traded. But I'm sure his brother played a role in the trade talks.
