Boston 117 Detroit 108 Final

Boston went off from 3 in the 2nd half and Detroit kept with them til the end. Good effort vs a great team that didn't play bad. 14 to 7 turnover margin was probably the difference. Record doesn't show it, but this team looks like a solid nba team for much of the game. They just have to get the consistency

their record shows exactly what they are. They are not a solid NBA team. They suck, but hopefully it's due to being so young.

This game for instance. They led the entire game until 4 mins left in the 3rd where they went from up 1 to down 8. They lost by 9. They played 44 minutes even with the best team in the east and had 4 poor minutes largely due to another bad lineup pairing from Casey(Bagley, Duren, Killian, Diallo and Joeseph)

I love this teams youth. I?m just not sure we have the right coach. I hope he proves me wrong..

Sometimes looking at the record can tell you if they're good or not. 3-11 says we're not. You don't need to watch games to determine that.

I've enjoyed watching their real nba talent actually grow. For the first time since SVG ran this franchise into the ground I actually see real talent. People that expected these kids to play .500 ball this year are clueless. They'll continue to grow and mature their game and next year with a new coach I expect to start seeing an increase in wins.

I agree with this. I was pretty excited about Ivey and Duren. I think Ivey has the highest ceiling of any of the players on the roster, including Cade. Cunningham hasn't impressed me too much so far in his career (given him being the #1 overall pick). I don't see "star" potential yet but he's still very early in his career.

some team stats that back up the Pistons being a really shitty team

Offense

FG 42.7% (30th) which is last
3 point percentage 32.8% (28th)
Assists per game 20.9 (29th)
turnovers 13.9 (12th)

Defense

opponent FG% 47.8% (26th)
3 point % 34.3% (7th)
Steals 6.2 (26th)
blocks 4.0 (23rd)

Never said otherwise just that as of now, as a whole this team is not good.
