Still can't believe that my Alma mater, Eat Lansing, is so good in basketball. We used to be a football powerhouse. Go Trojans!!!

East Kentwood is 12-4 this year . They were crushed at Muskegon 56-33 early this season then lost three games in a row recently all to decent teams Holland West Ottawa who is undefeated 58-53. Then R₩ @ Rockford 53-52, and @ Hudsonville 57-52. Hudsonville is good but Rockford is under .500. After this strech they have won five in a row.

Should have been four in a row as Byron Center 9-1 at the time had a 10 point half time lead on EK and it was up to 13 but poor officiating (28-13 foul advantage ) and untimely turnovers allowed EK to come back and win.

If byron center can win a few games in the districts they could play EK in the title game if they both win. But alas poor BC drew grand rapids Christian in the open round of the district. GRC has Tillman who is getting D1 offers and another kid, and GRC is host school.

I never understood the difference between football and basketball playoffs. In football the put the top 256 teams in the hopper and break them into 8 divisions of 32.
Basketball it's just A,B,C,D on enrollment. .. so Byron Center 1085 is in the same district as EK 2581 :/
