Brees on Lombardi and the Lions offense

You forgot the part where brees said they did a great job

Its like a dad watching his 4 year olds' t ball game. He pissed himself, played in the dirt the whole game and ran the bases backwards....but you still say good job.

The offense sucked ass all year....say anything different and youre a fucking moron.

11 wins. Plenty of points and 38 fg attempts. Offense did a good job despite massive injuries all over

"It's funny, I actually talked to (Matthew) Stafford at the Pro Bowl about it last week. And he's like, 'Man, I'm tired of watching Saints stuff. It's all we watch.'"

If I had to watch my counter part play superior to me, I'd be sick of it too.

Missed field goals and injuries. This is a top 5 offense when healthy

And you were dead wrong on our defense too. Hughes is king moron

The Lions were the ONLY team with injuries. LOL....LKP the excuse maker strikes again! Your act is getting really old.

Wasnt very wrong about the defense....we were inconsistent getting to the qb which was correct. I also said our secondary would take a nose dive if slay or mathis went down...they stayed healthy. Concentrated luck. Mayhew still has no depth anywhere.

We were 22nd in the league in total scoring. 12th in the league in passing yards, 28th in rushing yards.

Not great at all.

But we were also 22nd in the league in Offensive Line ranking.

22nd in total offense. 22nd in offensive line. They go hand in hand. It's why I put the blame for a lackluster offense where it belongs, squarely on the shoulders of the O-line.

The year before they were the 2nd ranked O-line in football. It was a big drop off.

Funny Baltimore experienced the same O-line drop off (and similar rebound) with Jim Caldwell as offensive coordinator.

I would guess some of Matt's problems are because of the oline and some problems the oline had are because of Matt.

everyone is right...except lkp:

oline was worse check
Caldwell turns teams' offenses to shit check
Lombardi sucked check
and yes....Stafford was awful check

Doesn't that say something when the team had one of the best offensive lines in the league last year and Stafford still didn't do anything of note?

And the Lions had "massive" injuries? Did I miss that?

No, I posted that twice. I don't think you can blame Matt's short comings on the OL when he was still crapola the year before..

Stafford slappies find a new excuse every year. ...hence they are stafford slappies.

11 wins. LKP was right.

Plent of points. 71 scoring drives. 33 TDs and 38 field goal attempts. Missed field goals galore.

Moved the ball and won games despite massive Oline,TE and Calvin injuries.

Great coaching, injuries happen. We overcame them.

2013 the offense was better than the Defense but still not good enough to win 8 games. This year the defense was much improved but the offense took a step back. That allowed them to win 11 games which is great but still couldn't beat the other good teams on a consistent basis. Stafford was average at best in 2014.

Who were Russell Wilson's top two targets last night? Couple of undrafted kids?

Continue to pile them up for Stafford.
