"Every team that plays us, it's their rivalry game. It's the biggest game on their schedule."

Pretty sure that is not true for anyone they play. Even in state, Purdue vs IU is a bigger deal for Purdue. Always will be because of the long time rivalry. Maybe it is true for Boston College. Both teams are trying to prove who has better Christians when they play. Pretty big deal there.

UM should stop playing them.
UM=OSU
MSU=UM
USC=UCLA
PU=IU
Army=Navy

I would say ND is a secondary rival. I love to see them lose!

I do think most people love to see ND lose because of how entitled they think they are.

At this level...I'd really think a head coach would take a nanosecond to THINK before he speaks.

When he took the job he proclaimed that, "there are head coaching jobs and then there is the head coaching job at ...."noh-uh-truh-dame!"

Seems like he's still playing the 'Academic/Race/Roster/WoeisUs/ Card .....

I'd put ND behind both OSU and MSU. This gives me an excuse to use the word "tertiary" (which is rare). I would say ND is a tertiary rival.

i agree. beating msu is always more satisfying than beating ND. i could be in the minority here though.

+1 for tertiary

MSu and OH* are conference rivals, so they are more important. I might even put Mnnesota up there before ND. I do like Michigan beating ND, but I don't care if they ever play them again...

that being said, I could swear that Weeeissss the Hutt said this same very thing just a few years back.

You have no idea how ****ing excited I was when I learned that the word tertiary existed. No longer would I have to sound like a dolt and mumble third...ary.

Notre Dame=Penn State. I like beating them and the tradition of both the schools is pretty neat but it's not a game I circle on the calender like Sparty or Ohio

I believe it. I felt the same way. And you could tell the guy that first told me I should be using that word was a fan too.
