Even as speculation swirled Monday about possible fines or suspensions arising from Sunday's chippy win over the Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher found time Monday to pay respect to the Lions and their coach.

Waddle & Silvy

Brian Urlacher joined "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000 and discussed the heated victory over the Lions.

The problem is they get too many big penalties. You can play aggressive and hard without getting all of the personal foul penalties. I think the Lions take it too far.

Brian also said on Mlive that.

Brian Urlacher said the Lions let the frustration of the scoreboard get to them and it showed in their trash talking and extracurricular activity.
"Once they got down, it got that way," said the Bears linebacker, who admitted he would have done the same thing. "I know I would. Sometimes teams do that when they get down, I guess. It didn't really matter. We didn't partake in any of their stuff."

The fight was started by their fucking cornerback who charged our qb. Why does the NFL and media want to label us as a dirty team. When the steelers and ravens play like that its called great D but when we do it its dirty. Fuck Goodell and fuck espn.

Fairly was a very dirty college player....did you see his hit on Cutler on Sunday? A very dirty / illegal hit.

he grabbed him when he had the football. 10 years ago that wouldnt be considered a penalty. Yea he finished the tackle and yes thats a penalty. but he shouldnt be fined for it. AKA not dirty just illegal.

I don't even think the Fairly hit deserved a penalty, he's in the act of a tackle and Cutler gets rid of the ball just as Fairly is making contact. What about the 3 cheap hits on Calvin? a close line and 2 helmet to helmet hits only 1 of which was called.

Next time we see the Bears someone needs to take out Cutler's knee. Fuck them.

With no dog in the fight, I would have went after Stafford too. He was being a bitch about his interception and being CLEANLY blocked down field, he purposely tried to rip a guys helmet off n pull him to the ground. Stafford caused that fight as much as the guy who went after him.

Well I disagree with the Stafford analysis... Anyone one who ever played football and is being blocked down field knows that you can do anything to get that block off you... I mean who cares if a pussies QB throw a D-Back to the ground... I don't have a problem with it... I for one am glad Stafford is pissed because I am more worried about how he is reading defenses and throwing now then this play... The little Bear player got pissed a QB threw him to the ground.. Get me a Kleenex for crying out loud..

1. Stafford didn't throw him to the ground, he purposfully grabbed the guy by the helmet and tried to rip him to the ground.

2.He could have just peeled off of the block or went down to get off of it..he was no longer trying to make a play on the ball carrier, he just wanted to throw the blocker to the ground because he was frustrated with getting his ass kicked.

3.The "little Bear" didn't throw his hands up and cry to the ref, he went back for more...so I don't see how he looks like a baby in this instance. If anything Stafford looked like one.

Sure it's good to see Stafford get a little fired up but that was a bitch move and he wasn't going to be able to defend himself once the "little bear " came back to retaliate.

Well I disagree... Shit happens on a football field... Time to move on to Carolina...

The biggest problem is the douche-bag refs and rule-makers in this league think that near 300 or 300+ pound defensive tackles like Fairley and Suh are going to be able to stop their momemtum once they're committed to a tackle. That's fucking physics people...get a clue...
