Bush scheduling a meeting with Detroit

You can't help yourself, man...lol ;)

I see it as, if Bush signs, he becomes the starter and Leshoure goes back to being that pounder that he originally was brought in here to be for Best. He was also insurance. He would spell Bush from time to time (it is a 2-back NFL now) and get the majority of the goaline touches. Therefore, he has GREAT value to Bush and to the team. Keeps everyone fresh. Then you can throw in Bell and SHAZAM...a 3-back system :vO lol.

Sorry, i had to ;)

You don't spend a second round pick on that role. Mayhew's drafting is fucking terrible. At least to the guy's credit he admits his mistakes. We draft a rb in he 1st and the 2nd and then pay 5 mil for one in free agency, if hat was Millen you guys would be in stitches right now.

We have 3 visits today: RB Reggie Bush, S Glover Quin, DE Jason Jones. So if we get a deal with one we say thank you to the other two? Who do we want more? I'd go with the S.

Spent 3 mil per for Levy, probably offer Bush 10 mil per. ;P

Stafford is part of the sales pitch today and apparently they are offering him the starting job.

nah, we can afford them all. we only need to restructure, restructure, and then restructure again. piece of cake! hell, we actually have more money to spend than the dolphins, we just hide it better to keep guys from thinking they can get more.

*burp*

sorry, was drinking LKP's HBKA, sweet and delicious

They NEEDED a RB at the time. Leshoure was available at the time. You dont like the pick....We all get it, time to get over it.

Oh, and fuck Millen, he's not here anymore.Time to get over that clown as well. Ok? Ok

Any other reason to be in Detroit during the off season??

I kid, mostly. I doubt very few Lions actually have a Detroit address.

Initially sources were saying he was in town to help make the pitch to Bush, but hopefully he's there to sign a new deal.

Just because Best didn't work out we should have IGNORED running back. That's just stupid. Like Tony said, we NEEDED a RB. Teams draft situational guys a lot higher than we drafted LeShoure, when the talent is there. Bush would be a GREAT fit for this offense....no matter what was done at the RB position before now.

Fuck, Bush himself was the #2 overall pick and he NEVER was a feature back in NO AND they already had Duece McCallister (only 27) on the roster. Seemed to work out OK for them.

Bush and LeShoure will give them a nice tandem back there finally.

Hey hey hey... We don't take kindly to no logical thinkin' round here.

Some sources are saying Bush is taking a physical to finalize a 3yr deal. But at this point it is NOT official

The Lions Facebook page has a pic of him signing a contract with Lewand and a caption that reads "It's official! Welcome to the Lions, Reggie Bush!".
