If I remember when I have extra time I will fish up some good ones. It won't be too difficult, it's always the usual suspects complaining about people complaining.

*edit* I only searched for a few pages before getting bored, aside from LKP (who doesn't count) I didn't see any real pro Pettigrew posts. I apologize to the slappies.

I've always defended the guy. I'm not going to go so far as to say that I'm going to miss him or lose sleep over this, but I thought he was better than what some on here thought. We seem to be tough on tight ends around here. I hope that he catches on somewhere.

I like that he was known for being a good run blocking te....and we never once we're good at running the ball since he's been here.

Too bad we never had a RB for him to block for.
Pettigrew was a player that never caught the ball in college and was drafted to be a "security blanket" for Stafford. The kid was doomed from the start if you ask me. That wasn't his skill set but the moron fanbase of the Lions expected this guy to be the next Antonio Gates lol. How can anyone succeed that? Pettigrew was a LT playing the TE position and if you go look at his numbers from 2010- 2013, they were ok. Nothing eyepopping or anything like that. Just ok. I'll admit though, it was time to go and this move should have been done last year or the year before. But he was a good blocking TE. He just couldn't stay healthy.
