I guess Michelle Rhee's too tainted to be the figurehead of the privatizing/charter school/anti-teacher's-union movement any more, so they drafted former talking-head CNN Correspondent Campbell Brown (a move that surely won Tinsel over, since he likes TV newswomen with conflicts of interest).

I saw her on Colbert yesterday, and was about to change the channel, but I was happy to see he really grilled her, and didn't let her just make her BS claims and walk away. he skewered her at the end, saying "I respect..." and then after a tortured pause, "you." A researcher from Michigan State University of all places just wrote a column fact checking all her bogus claims for the WaPo.

Anyways, her group just filed suit in NY over teacher tenure; it's the same basis, with a handful of sympathetic plaintiffs represented "pro bono" in a sleazy, vague, conflict-of-interest way by Kirkland and Ellis, LLP, as the one that succeeded in CA recently, and that will probably be overturned on appeal, because the opinion & reasoning underlying it was crap.

The charity that she works with to reform education (because it's failing miserably) is co-chaired by two graduates of the university of michigan, of all places.

As I recall, she's pretty good looking.

Hot AND with a conflict of interest. My kind of news babe.

I've noticed Erin Burnett is showing off her jugs more these days with lower cleavage.

Maybe after having her kid she has bigger boobs and is proud of them.

Anyway while this has nothing to with conflict of interest or boobs, David Gregory has left NBC and Meet the Press.

David Gregory sucked, but firing him won't change the fact that it's been basically been the U.S. version of RussiaToday since before RussiaToday even existed.

If he couldn't do that job, I don't know what else he'll be able to do outside of Fox News.

I don't know if David Gregory was still the NBC White House Correspondent or not, but apparently Chuck Todd has stepped into that position...President Obama proudly called on him to ask the first question at press conference just now...

Wow...

Dude came off as a little bit presidential at today's presser...

...at least he seemed so to me...

Or maybe he just didn't put his fuckin' foot in his mouth today...

About time.
