I guess Michelle Rhee's too tainted to be the figurehead of the privatizing/charter school/anti-teacher's-union movement any more, so they drafted former talking-head CNN Correspondent Campbell Brown (a move that surely won Tinsel over, since he likes TV newswomen with conflicts of interest).
I saw her on Colbert yesterday, and was about to change the channel, but I was happy to see he really grilled her, and didn't let her just make her BS claims and walk away. he skewered her at the end, saying "I respect..." and then after a tortured pause, "you." A researcher from Michigan State University of all places just wrote a column fact checking all her bogus claims for the WaPo.
Anyways, her group just filed suit in NY over teacher tenure; it's the same basis, with a handful of sympathetic plaintiffs represented "pro bono" in a sleazy, vague, conflict-of-interest way by Kirkland and Ellis, LLP, as the one that succeeded in CA recently, and that will probably be overturned on appeal, because the opinion & reasoning underlying it was crap.
