- abortion (not the failure to abort future school shooters as you might think, but allowing abortion in general)
- Marilyn Manson
- trench coats

Things that could not possibly have anything to do with school shootings:
- lax firearm laws that allow guns to be sold to psychotic individuals
- absurd, baseless fear-mongering by the NRA which encourages widespread, unnecessary gun ownership, ensuring there are plenty of guns laying around for psychotics to use to kill lots of people when they inevitably snap

It is logically impossible to even draw a hypothetical link between either of these two things and school shootings, or to mass shootings in general.

I think a legit cause of school shootings is the media attention that they receive. These little losers want to go out with a bang. They know that if they shoot up their school everyone will remember them.

This just in: Florida didn't do background checks for an entire year, and had to go back and retroactively revoke gun permits. Link.

The AP really buried the lede as they say. This part shows up all the way at the bottom:

If you believe in the Constitution, particularly the first and second amendment, you're not a sellout if you take money from the NRA and/or your platform supports gun rights. A sellout is someone who betrays their own principles for reasons of expedience or personal gain - see Bernie Sanders for an example.
