Cespedes would look real nice in lf right now...

Glad i changed the format to needing a CF instead of a outfielder in our fantasy league because i was grasping for a CF and he was the highest by far at that time in the draft.. I had to trust the rankings...So far so good for me.. I was wrong about him..

when all said and done, young will have better numbers

Yeah, that's probably not gonna happen.

Cespedes has more power than Young, and will actually draw a walk.

Young puts the ball in play more.

Agreed.

I'd love nothing more than for Young to put up another 2010, but I'll probably see pigs flying past my window before it happens.

And I think he gets moved before the deadline anyways.

I doubt Young has a career year, which is the only way his numbers will be better than Cespedes. And by numbers, I am talking about quality stats (i.e. OPS, Runs Created, WPA/LI). Young will probably have a better batting average, but most of us know that by itself is a hollow stat.

yeah, I guess it would be crazy to think he could have all-star numbers behind Cabrera and Fielder.......if they start hitting.

Well we could sure use his fielding.. i am sure he is better then everyone we have except Jackson.

look at his numbers from 2007 to 2010

You lost all credibility when you even suggested 2007 possibly being a All Star season.

Which, I am now curious (not really) why you picked that season over all the other similar sub par seasons.

Cespedes home numbers, .318 .426 .659 1.085. If he learns to hit elsewhere he could be good.

Yep, he has talent.

His asking price was still too high IMO, much too big a chance to take.

But he's going to be solid probably.
