Countess

Just saw a report on ESPN that Countess has a torn ACL, and it out for the rest of the season. Damn!

Still no word on Lewan. I have to admit its starting to worry me to. He has been on twitter but hasnt said a word on his injury.

I've read that Lewan will be back next week

I've, also, read that Lewan won't be back until the B1G opener.

Per Hoke Lewan has a bruise but is fine whew. Brandon Moore is out this week. Blake will have surgery in the next 2 weeks and is done for the year.

I wonder if Brandon Moore was really our best option at TE by that much. Hopefully, its not that far of a drop-off there.

i think this shows just how dependent we are on a few people as opposed to having a stable

it will get better

with countess for sure being out for the year now, does anyone think there is a chance we might see any young guys lining up at corner? richardson or hollowell maybe? avery just scares me out on an island. i much prefer him as a nickel.

From everything I read it sounded like Hoke was saying Avery would start for now which I took to mean others will get a chance. One positive this year is a lot of our younger players are going to play which may cost us some this year but pay huge dividends in 1-2 years when they are very experienced

On the bright side - we should have a pretty good corner for 2-3 more years and this will let the younger guys get some needed experience for when Floyd graduates.

Right. Because this entire enterprise, after all, is all about us.

i feel bad for blake. just hope he heals up and comes back strong next year. he has a promising future and knee injuries are never easy to come back from.

sucks....was one of the only players i was excited to watch on D this year.
