Since the Alabama Crimson Tide lost to the Clemson Tigers in the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship to end the season, Alabama head coach Nick Saban has seen offensive coordinator Mike Locksley (Maryland), quarterbacks coach Dan Enos (Miami), defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi (Cleveland Browns), wide receivers coach Josh Gattis (Michigan) and offensive line coach Brent Key (Georgia Tech) leave the program.
Of the departures, Enos was the most surprising since he was expected to be promoted to offensive coordinator. Locksley agreed to accept the Maryland head coach job after the regular season ended, but remained with Alabama through the playoff. However, the manner in which Enos left is perhaps even more shocking, according to a report released Thursday by The Athletic's Bruce Feldman.
The remaining Crimson Tide staffers and Saban gathered for a meeting last Friday, and several of them knew Enos had accepted an offer from new Miami Hurricanes coach Manny Diaz, per Feldman. Saban, though, was unaware, prompting the coach to ask, "Where the F#$% is Dan?!?" Feldman wrote. Enos' office had already been cleared out.
I dont like Saban, but this Enos turd is a snake in the grass. Apparently not a face to face kind of guy, lol.
