Deals could be voided

edit: In fact, since we're the lions, it's likely that we end up giving miami a 3rd round pick when this is over, as punishment for driving up the price on suh through bad contract restructures.

lmao...this^^^

imagine if that was mayhew and lewands plan all along lmao. lets make suhs price so outrageous that only a handful of teams can compete with the asking price. By the way the guy drafts I can honestly say its not out of the realm of possibility....the guys is an effing moron.

Mayhew knows more than all of you combined. Suh restructures got us good players that are still on the team. We could have given 17 per, Miami decided to be the morons.

Sounds like the talk of voiding deals was REALLY unlikely, however, the NFL is taking this thing super serious.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...tampering-guilty-teams-could-lose-draft-picks

It is Bleacher Report, so .. meh... grain of salt and all. But the first reports that the deal may have been agreed to "days and days before the opening of the legal tampering period" by a news outlet.

Report says the NFL has already sent personnel directly to one team's offices, and will do more.

Tampering is one thing the NFL does take very seriously.

Best thing Miami should do if they are guilty is be upfront and honest. Probably say something like they are dealing with the offenders via terminations, blah, blah, blah, while others were clueless. Patsies are always a great way to minimize damage. NFL still comes down on them, just not as hard.

If they make it hard on investigators, NFL will makenit hard on them.
