Delmas resigns

Well, this man had THE BEST in-game entrance on the team. At least him coming in is exciting. Maybe he'll stay healthy too :-/

2 years 9.465 million...not exactly super cheap given his injury history..but its short term so it shouldn't affect us too much

i thought 9.4 mil was a littlle high too....just hopehes one of those guys that goes out and proves hes worth it.

Wow Lions get their cake and eat it too, for a change. Great secondary pairing in Quin and Delmas.

Too bad now we're uber weak at DE lol. Seems you can't have everything.

Yeah, I wasn't too happy when I saw it was 2 years for 9.465 million. But I also heard that the Lions made it heavily incentive-laden in case he doesn't see the field a lot. I'm interested to know what some of the incentives are.

Overall though, I'm happy we brought him back. Just stay healthy now!!!

Tony, most of the best safeties never seem to be healthy enough. Ed Reed has been injured a lot in his career. Palamolu. Bob Sanders was never on the field long enough for the coin flip.

These guys play hard, they hit hard, and they pay the price.

Quinn is a solid cover guy, and Delmas is the complimentary missile. This could be awesome for us.

'Could be'. There's the key. I love Delmas' energy and think he' s a good player but he can't stay healthy....EVER. Not bashing the player, just wish they could have went with smeone in the draft...they still could however and i bet they do.

Just fn stay healthy. Maybe ths motivates him a little more with the Quin signing.

You mean this one?

Yeah no kidding! I seriously wonder what would happen if he did somehow get cleared to play. I know it's very unlikely though

I thought about the same thing recently. I have to imagine IF he got cleared.....and IF he wanted to play again......he would have to go the CFL route. I can't imagine an NFL GM wanting to be the guy who put him on the field for what could be a life changing injury. Im not sure that any CFL GM would want to for that matter.....but they always seem to be willing to give former NFL guys a chance. Fuckin Canada, eh? He would have to prove he could stay concussion free for a year....then he would have his choice of places to play.

Because if it was just about talent......EVERY team would want him.

Part of me hopes to see him play again.....a bigger part of me hopes not to.
