Do-Nothing Presidents

I'd give a 7th grader a C- for that report.

7th graders are like:

Presidents that did nothing:
J. Adams
X
X
X

Presidents that did something:
X
X
X

And that's it and you'd give that a C- in middle school?

No. I'd give that an F-.

Well then at least some good rubbed off on you even if you are over-critical of . . . well . . . everything!!

it was a solid education.

Coach Kal, fall 1994: "Guys like Champ have mental toughness. Champ was out sick all week, and he comes in and gets the highest grade in the class on the exam. Some of the rest of you are just whiners. 'You didn't teach me.' 'You didn't help me.' You guys should just kill yourselves. Just burn yourselves. But don't go tell your parents I said this, or they'll blame me when Slaney here burns himself."

US ranks very bad in education as we all know. Trust me, more kids write garbage than good reports.

Those "what'd you do during the summer" reports: "Well, I watched TV for 9 hours and played PlayStation for the other 15. I didn't sleep at all." - The depiction of an American child.

So what happened to Slaney?

that's not his real name.

I think he went to some community college; my brother ran into him a few times and he told him he was going to business school at Michigan, which was not true.

last I saw of him was at my 10 yr HS reunion. he said he was working as a loan officer at some bank. he looked like he had gained about 200 lbs, and was married to some awful-looking fat chick (but to his credit, she was not as fat as him)

he was living in Clarkston or Lake Orion, or one of those way-north suburbs full of dumbass white republicans.

I'm related to coach Kal. Amazing guy. Were you in detention much? Sounds like your mouth may have gotten you in trouble quite a bit.
:)
