...the way both Presidents Clinton and Bush got a chance to when they were campaigning to be president, in order to show they had the "chops" to make the tough decisions a president has to make.

In liberal Massachussetts, they don't have the death penalty.

I have no doubt that, had Mitt Romney had the chance, he would have happily fried some retard as part of his future campaign to be president (he is noted to have attempted to reinstate the death penalty as Governor, probably specifically for this reason).

all up in arms about people who commit murder and get the death penalty yet tens of million abortions have been performed on innocent lives...."hey its a woman right"...go figure

tsmith: You miss the point. TW is saying that Mitt has no official opinion on the matter, yet he would have executed someone to illustrate that he was "tough on crime" to gain points with the Madame DeFarges of the world.

This is the same Mitt who has adopted a pro-choice-wait-I-mean-life stance on abortion. He and Obama are two of the most expedient peas in a pod that I have ever seen. We're this 1800, they would compliment each other most effectively as a president-vice-president team. It sickens me.

I believe Mormons justify the death penalty, so I assume he would be in favor of it. Not sure its relevant since the presidency has nothing to do with it

The official position of the Mormon church is that is has no position on the death penalty. Very definitive, and a hint as to why Mitt is so vague about certain issues and ideas.

Are you saying Mitt's position will be the same as his church?
