Bernier should be starting since Howard played last night. Likewise since Koskinen played on Wednesday, its likely that Smith is gonna get the start.

McDavid is also coming off a 5 point game against a weak Wings team. Did I mention Neal has 8 goals in 7 games?

Personally preparing for a dumpster fire of a game, but hoping for the best.

Wing Alumni that recently joined Edmonton
Holland - GM
Jurco - 4th line scoring winger
Sheahan - 3rd line shutdown center

I should look up last season's record for Detroit's back to backs. I recall it was well below .500.

Number of Back to Back games.

17: PHI, PIT
16: CAR, CHI, CBJ, FLA, NJD
15: DAL, LAK, TBL
14: BUF, DET, MTL, OTT, TOR
13: ARI, BOS, NYR
12: ANA, COL, NSH, SJS, VAN, VGK, WSH
11: MIN, NYI
10: CGY, WPG
9: EDM, STL

Don't Goalies play 2 games in a row anymore? Even when we have off days its Howard, Bernier, Howard, Bernier etc. I thought Howard was our starter.

Hard choice. If there is a good coach available, or move the assistant coach for a rebuild? Not sure anything changes.

Disco Dan is standing next to Blashill.

Not that it matters, I think Blash has a free pass until end of season unless they go on a 10-15 game losing streak.

Helm fined $5,000 for his slash last night.

I don't think Detroit officially announced who is starting. That was my speculation.

Only 3 games in GR but Veleno 0 points, Zadina 1 point, assist. Ras has 5, 2 goals. Our 30 somethings are doing well. Terry & Ford.

Seider leads the team in +4.

Those Edmonton jerseys hurt my eyes. Especially since the contrast is turned up on main cameras.

I thought the same. Any time we don't give up a goal is a good period.
