The most important question in my mind is whom all in the crowd was instigating and encouraging useful idiots to bum rush the building who let them in the doors and why. everything else is noise. I'll go ahead and not hold my breath we'll ever get those answers.

Trump instigated it. How is that even a question? He's been playing with fire since he started campaigning YEARS AGO, and finally started a fire. Sure agents provocateurs probably made it worse, but Trump held the rally...? can't pass the buck there.

I've said before that all the pearl-clutching criticism of the riot as a threat to "our Democracy" is bullshit. our democracy is bullshit to begin with, and smashing windows of the capital is like bashing the windows of a Potemkin village.

what annoys me personally is how these same retards cheer on the cops when they're beating the shit out of BLM protestors, running police cruisers into them, etc. (or flat out deny any of that occurred), but cry about tyranny, police overreach, and conspiracies when they go smash windows in the capital and face any criminal consequences for that.

Like maybe 2% of Americans have any sense of self awareness

I don't know if it's bs or not, but some author on the radio is saying that state level GOPs have been replacing people in the positions that held up Trump's effort last time so it might work next time.

Ask the people that committed the act where they got the idea, then ask those people where they got the idea...and so on until you find the instigators. Or if you think you already know and don't want anyone to find out, pretend nothing is wrong and say it's all a witch hunt.

This was an unorganized mob, goaded on by Trump and whoever law enforcement undoubtedly sent to stir things up. Many of them were taking pictures and posting them on their instagram and facebook pages... just happy to be there, pretending to be revolutionaries.

They attacked a symbol... they didn't seriously threaten power, and they're all being prosecuted, harshly in some cases, for it.

contrast this with the Brooks Brothers riot to see what it's like when the "deep state" puts their finger on the scale, and subverts the rule of law for the candidate they actually want to see in office.
