Manchester City wins today at Brighton, and holds off Liverpool in the title race that sees two teams end up with over 90 points. Manchester City end with 98 points, and Liverpool ends up with 97 points. Liverpool regular season title drought stretches to 30 years. Liverpool last time came in the 1989-90 season before the current EPL format was implemented. This is back to back titles for Manchester City, and 4th since the 2011-12 season. It has been over a decade since a back to back title has been won.
It is amazing that Liverpool only lost one time, and still managed to finsh second. To many draws I guess lol.
Manchester City was 31-2-4.
Liverpool was 29-7-1.
Liverpool still has a game with Tottenham for the champions league title on June 1st.
Manchester City still has Watford in the FA cup final on May 12th.
Chelsea and Arsenal are playing for Europa League Final.
EPL final standings.
