FA DHB visiting tomorrow

I went to this basketball game that Torrey Smith throws in my hometown every year. It is cool lots of redskins and ravens but also Joe haden and some other guys from around the league come out. But I ended up sitting next to one of the players girlfriends and we were talking about different players and she was telling me how she worked out with DHB when they were in college and I sort of said without thinking "if he could catch he would be pretty good" I was worried that maybe he would show up and kick my ass. But instead she laughed and told me how she said that to him all the time. I felt like a badass!

Did you end up banging fingers with her?

He'd make Pettigrew look like Antonio Gates.

For the right price it makes sense. He could be a big weapon on our offense without the pressure of being a number one WR/top ten pick.

i dont care if he doesnt catch a ball all year. Just send him down the sideline 800 times a year and open up all that space for reggie underneath and/or calvin opposite him. Itd be huge for our offense.

To me its a no brainer as long as his price is decent. Its a win win for the player and the team. He is not a #1 WR but he would be a great complimentary WR. We have Calvin and Reggie. Add DHB and his skill set and we are a defense's nightmare with speed and play makers all over the field.

Make it happen Mayhew. He is the perfect compliment to our offense. But I hope he doesn't expect more than a million a year.

Signing him could free up a draft pick. I think we all assume mayhew will pick a wr at some point.

Think Alvin Harper in reverse. As the #2 in Dallas, he was awesome with Michael Irvin as the #1. As the #1 in Tampa Bay, Harper blew.

DHB as a #1 in Oak? Too big for him. As the #2 with Megatron on the other side? Got some possibilities here!

The bar is set pretty low with deep balls other than Calvin. What did Titus have 2 last year. Against the Seahawks and the Hail Mary. You know Burleson and Broyles aren't going deep consistently.

His rookie season, Titus seemed like he was getting behind the defense all the time. With DHB being even faster, I feel like it should work out very well in our system. Just get him some stickem or let him imagine the ball as a roll of toilet paper, if it worked for the black kid from little giants, then it's worth a try!
