Fantasy team or Lions

I could finish dead last in every league I play for five years and I wouldn't give a rat's ass so long as I saw the Lions make the playoffs once in that time.

I agree. I was listening to Emmit Smith on The Herd the other day. I know, I know. Why? Emmit isnt the sharpest crayon in the tool shed. anyways, he was saying if you go 10-6 and lose in the 1st rd of the playoffs, you mine as well go 5-11, 6-10. Its the same thing. You're not winning the Super Bowl. First off, Emmit was a lucky SOB to land in the situation he did. Secondly, He obviously doesnt have any friends that are Lions fans..

This type of thinking is the reason that I don't play fantasy football anymore. It completely skews you're thinking on Sundays and, IMO, takes away from the enjoyment of the game.

I play and don't root for anyone playing against the Lions, even in a blowout. Most don't

I was pretty pissed off when my roommate was watching the game with me and was flipping between our game and NFL Redzone all fucking game. Worst fucking thing ever made perhaps. I'll watch Sportscenter later if I want to see highlights. I want to watch a game, have time to get my beer and use the facilities during breaks... not tell someone to check if the Lions game is back.

I like the Red Zone. But I watch it when there isn't a killer game on at 4pm est. Better than Minny-Chargers.

Red Zone is awesome if the game you want to watch isn't on.....

Verizon offers the NFL network on phones for free so I've been watching redzone on my phone. You pretty much know what's going on every game.
