Get StartedBoom. Ebron pick. Great pick.
??? Huh??? You are basing that off the second string red zone TE being injured when the DBs have been carted off the field for weeks? The short term value would have been in having a DB with that pick at this point in hindsight. I'm still open minded about long term value as it woukd make sense to not have Pett next year, but short term that pick was a must at DB despite how well the D has played. At least a DB would have been making much more positive contributions at this point.
But I am willing to wait longer before calling Ebron a bust, just pointing out him filling in for Fauria is not nearly as important and valuable as having a talented DB right now. I remember you were not happy about Carey playing and despite the TD last week I'm betting you would still prefer a quality DB in his spot instead.

Fauria is not just redzone. He plays a ton of snaps. Ebron is getting those snaps now.
And the Lions DBs have played very well.
Dead wrong that it should have been DB so far. But time will tell.
Actually, as of now, going DB would be dead RIGHT!!!
Ebron has done NOTHING that Doris Dickerson couldn't have done to this point.
Kyle Fuller would have been a massive upgrade over who he would have replaced....Don Carey/Gorrer/Seisay.
Not saying that can't/won't change......but saying he has been the right pick to this point is like saying the Chargers were right in taking Ryan Leaf.
Carey has a Def TD. Bentley did fine, Lawson did fine and Gorrer/Seisay did fine. We have a top ranked D.
Ebron is a huge need now. TE was the right pick. Great job Mayhew.
Giving Carey credit for that TD is laughable. Ebron is not a NEED now. He could prove me wrong this weekend......but Lions TE's as a whole haven't seen enough targets to make any of them a NEED.
Learn football, then come back and post.
Carey has a Def TD. Bentley did fine, Lawson did fine and Gorrer/Seisay did fine. We have a top ranked D. Notice how it took like 3 injuries to get down to Gorrer and Seisay too. It took one injury to give Ebron more snaps. He was already getting a good amount.

I bet ebron gets a few more snaps but to be honest i expect Broyles to be active and see the field a lot more.

More great work by Mayhew. Having a stud like Broyles in the holster.
So, you think it was smart to use your #10 pick on a 3rd string TE/WR hybrid?
ALL Lions TE - 17 Targets 7 Rec 96 yds 0 TD
Scott Chandler - 8 Targets 7 Rec 101 yds 0 TD
See. Basically, your argument is that to THIS POINT....you would have traded the number 10 pick for Scott Chandler.
LOL
