And the best part is... the Miami Herald endorsed her campaign.

She doesn't want the incident to define her though:
In an interview, Rodriguez Aguilera said she is grateful for the endorsement and that her tale of kidnapping by aliens does not define her.

"It has nothing to do with what I have done. It happened when I was 7 years old," she said. "I am so proud of the Herald and what they did."

They apparently haven?t had primaries yet.

The incumbent, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, described as a moderate Republican who refused to endorse Donald Trump is stepping down after 20 years in the House.

Eh. These days, I might vote for someone that thinks they were abducted as a child if they recognize that not working to reduce how much we're changing the chemical composition of the ocean and our atmosphere is completely unethical.

A lot of people in that district practice Santeria. It’s the heart of Santeria in the US.

you can tell what generation someone is from based on their reaction to that word

There was a song

some of us know

others do not

depending on when we were born

I don?t know if knowing or not knowing the song necessarily constitutes a reaction.

Gulo had a reaction.

An older person might respond remembering a movie where Lisa Bonet was naked rubbing chicken blood on herself.

That's exactly it.

I know the song (I've heard it way too many times)

but I don't know the movie

I remember both the movie and the song. Some people are defined by their alien abduction experience, others by their age then there are some people you just can't put in a box.
