Been exposed to this channel for about an hour now and find it really has nothing to do with business or investing. It's just the same as Fox News. It's all political talk on 'obamacare' ...the body language lady slamming Obama ...a 'media critic' criticizing the 'main stream media'

Turrible

This will come as a surprise to spartanhack, jdildo, and tLiar.

Came as a surprise to me as a Wall Street guy but I usually watch CNBC or bloomberg. Didn't realize FBiz was just the same as FNws

I stopped watching the cable financial networks when Erin Burnett went to CNN.
I stopped watching them when I realized how they were all in the pocket of the firms they were ostensibly covering objectively.

see, e.g. this. ...CNBC was giving MF Global glowing coverage right up until the day they collapsed.

We have Bberg TV on at work - no sound, but can throw on the headphones if/when they're covering something I care about. Not sure how you can criticize Fox Biz and say you watch CNBC - it's the financial news equivalent of the Today Show at best, probably more like The View - totally useless. Haven't watched much Fox Biz but they have a pretty nice lineup of anchor woman they cherry picked from CNBC and Bberg TV.

Tinsel, Erin Burnett is alright but she's not even in Deirdre Bolton's (Bberg TV for years, scooped up by Fox a year ago) universe and she wouldn't make the top 5 on Bberg TV. Plus she's an idiot.

I wasn't making a relative comparison between Fox Buisiness and CNBC but I don't typically get to see Fox. But because I am in Arizona, there are clients who most intentionally put Fox on rather than CNBC just to make it known how they swing.

Bloomberg is the best by far and most focused on business. CNBC, IMO, is the old standard and while there are definitely times when the programming is like The View, I've never seen a dedication to political news unless there is relevant news to break that impacts the markets.

Cable news in any form these days suck.

I'm a fan of Jackie DeAngelis on CNBC these days ...and she's a sharp one, too!

Cool.

I never heard of Deidre Bolton. I just did an image search and she's pretty, I don't know that I would say Erin Burnett is not in her universe.

I don't know what the "Bloomberg Top 5" means.

I like to watch Erin Burnett on CNN. If she's an idiot I must be missing something.

It means if she was on Bberg TV, she wouldn't be in the top 5 hottest girls on the network. The amazing thing about Deirdre is she's 50 years old and she's smoking hot.

Deidre's 50?

That's amazing.

I couldn't name a single hot girl on Bloomberg, let alone tell anybody where they were ranked.

Do they have a wikipedia page?

This is 4 years old and there's been some turnover - Deirdre and Lori Rothman are now at Fox, Sarah Eisen is at CNBC and there are definitely others but for the most part they've been replaced pretty well (Olivia Sterns is one) - except for Deirdre who cannot be replaced...

Well, that's lovely.

I guess whether or not Erin Burnett would be able to crack the top 5 in hotness of the Bloomberg Monie Honies is a matter of one's personal taste.

But one thing I'm pretty confident of is...she doesn't have to anyway.

Because she's got one thing going for her that none of them do.

She's Erin Burnett.

And all of them aren't.

I will say that CNBC sure seems to be cross-promoting Shark Nation a lot during the daytime/market programming

No bid here - sold to you all day.

Funny Deirdre Bolton story - my buddy and I were at a big charity event and she was there. I pointed her out and asked "would you?" His reply: "On the front lawn, Christmas Day, in front of my in-laws." One of those lines I will never forget.

Yeah, I saw that edit; that's awesome.

Not everybody is gonna love Erin Burnett.

A lot of people didn't like and never or rarely watched Seinfeld.

Or Mash or Friends or Walter Cronkite (who was the commencement speaker at my graduation from Michigan, just like Bill Maher is going to be a commencement speaker at UC Berkeley).

Our own MichChamp has made posts that indicate that he himself is not a particular fan of Erin Burnett.

Erin Burnett mesmerizes me. I find her gorgeous, and funny and enchanting.

My wife used to refer to her as my "girlfriend."

What can I tell ya? - it's just me.

to each his own, I guess. She's cute in sort of a private school, preppy, former field hockey player kinda way but she just doesn't do it for me - never really did, even before she switched networks and it became obvious what an uber-lefty she is.

yeah, we've pretty much cyber-stalked all of them during our downtime over the last 5 years.
