Was just floating around checking out what was being said of some of the convention speeches when I can across this one. . . on Fox News of all places!

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/08/30/paul-ryans-speech-in-three-words/

Nice to see a slight bit of journalistic integrity. Unfortunately these facts are pretty much irrelevant to the sea of mouth breathers that will decide this election one way or the other.

I know a lot of you guys get some sick enjoyment out of all this election crap but I really wish this reality show of an election would just be over all ready. One sides a bunch of fucking idiots and the others a bunch of fucking pussies. We lose either way!

Romneys campaign manager said already that they could careless about what the fact checkers have to say....they're gonna throw it all against the wall and see what sticks.

Paul Ryans verbal diarhea last night was just the beginning.

Maybe FOX is trying to lay early blame on Ryan so when Romney tanks in November they have someone to blame.

I don't know much about Sally Kohn, is she one of the handful of token liberals FOX keeps on staff? [Hmm it appears Kohn is lesbian, and also contributed to the Huffington Post]

Lots of Republicans still think Palin is what cost McCain '08 [it was actually 8 years of Bush jr], but the fact is I doubt the VP nomination makes much difference outside of securing a few electoral votes the Pres. nominee could not get himself.

Ryan is every bit as ho-hum as Biden is.

Yeah, she kinda is. And to be honest I'm just venting because I get truly irritated by all the bull shit but I can't look away. Its like one giant fucking car crash and its everywhere, 24/7.

My neighbor invites me over for a beer the other day. We're shooting the shit, talking about his grand kids playing high school ball then the next thing I know hes like "do you vote?", "who you gonna vote for?" "you know that Obama is a socialist, right?".

I mean even my old ladies ex-husband is at the shit with their 6 year old kid they have from the prior marriage. The other day Obama comes on the TV and she says "my dad says every time I see Obama on TV I'm supposed to say boo and No-Obama". She's fucking 6 years old and is being taught to hate the president of the United States! Fucking absurd.

That's absurd, indeed. For a six-year old to boo the president. When the age of reason is seven years old.

I would never boo a president, no matter who they were. Have to respect the office. It's not like Obama is an MLB manager or something.

I agree entirely. Respect for the office and the man holding that office in my world and in my humble opinion is sacrosanct. May not always agree with the person holding it, but there is no one who deserves our respect more than the one who holds that office. I'm sorry, but it takes a special individual to put yourself through what those people who hold that office go through.

However, I expect the Canucks to maybe disagree . . .
:*)

I took the kids to see President Clinton in 1996 when he was campaigning in Royal Oak for a second term. Did not agree with much that he said, but *DAMN* the man was freaking amazing and I'd have followed him anywhere after he spoke.

I wish he was managing the White Sox.
