RIP
Those 49er teams of the 80?s were pretty darn good. Lions almost beat them in the opening round of the 1983 playoffs losing by a point 24-23. Eddie Murray missed I think a 46 yarder for the win. I think we turned the ball over 4 or 5 times in the game also. SF lost in nfc title game the following week 24-21 to Washington.

Eddie’s final FG miss in that 83 game was wide right by a yard.

I can't remember what happened in a game last week and you guys can remember games from the 1980's??

Thanks I remember watching somehow I thought it hit the post. Holy crap I was just 18. {pauses to reflect on life}. At least it was only 8 short years to get that playoff win.

Yeah I remember the game pretty well. The lions pushed the 49ers around but kept turning then ball over . My buddy was in the end zone where Murray missed sadly.
