Tigers vs. Athletics Preview: The Tigers offense is bad and that makes baseball not fun.
When the Tigers turn every pitcher they face into an ace, it?s hard to get excited about their games.
BYBTB

BY A small market, a second straight season-series sweep vs. Tiger. And there HITTERS hit more HOMERS!
Question what team has won a world series with a first round pitcher on there 25 man roster?
Rant time "GET BETTER HITTERS". Tigers have two by fubbs

.214 WITH BASES LOADED ,and 14th with 55 runs scored. Improvement is greatly needed.

1 unearned run in 29 innings so far for the tigers offense this Series..that’s just craptastic!

I think Gardenhire is just pulling names from a hat to set the lineup order each day now, might just as well makes little difference

Get better hitters

Closest to ML ready is Christin Stewart in LF where he is barely adequate defensively. He hits and gets a fair share of walks, but also K's. What I recently read was he has trouble catching up to FB's 95 or better in the minors, so what will he do vs. ML pitchers who most all throw harder?

Daz Cameron appears to be in the mold of his dad, a good player Mike Cameron. Good hitter, good fielder but is likely 2 years away.

Paredes at short might be a fair hitter if and when he arrives, but at 5'11" 225 is kind of heavy to make plays at shortstop. Possible position change to 3B.

Clemens at 2B is 2/3 years away.

These players can't hit or draw walks. Lugo, Hill. or hit and can't walk, Castro, Rivera.

These players are a ways away. Meadows, Deathrage,

Plenty of pitching prospects, nothing ML ready position players.

He's hoping to catch lightning in a bottle with Jones and Rodriguez leading off the past week. They shot themselves in the foot trading Martin the only player who could leadoff for another middle infielder.

Tigers have scored 14 runs in 6 plus games against the A’s this year, 7 coming in one game. Lol

I’d go with Iggy leadoff since he’s usually a tougher out and doesn’t strike out too much
