Prior to Friday nights 8/17 game, the Tigers placed LHP Blaine Hardy on the 10-day DL (retroactive to 8/15) with left elbow tendinitis and recalled LHP Ryan Carpenter from Triple A Toledo.

The Indians have announced that Leonys Martin is out of intensive care and making progress. Good news.
