As per that BYBTB link on Jimenez, sounds like he is close to his limit or equaled his minor and major totals from 2017.

Add in the more stressful 8th inning he has been coming into relieve, with other relievers up and down along with being hurt, which adds to having to bring up pitchers from AAA along with the ones who have been with the Tigs most of the year, some or most make us groan...

Maybe they bring up say Houston, or another minor league reliever and try them in the 8th and/or give Jimenez less stressful inning to come in. He has entered with runners on base too, some pitchers can, some can't, inherited runners adds to it. Less room for error.

If they had more depth, more quality relievers, it wouldn't have come to this.
