Game 13 Lions @ Packers Thread

I havent heard about the snow situation, but according to this it might have already fallen...

found this gem;
The Detroit Lions have dropped 36 catchable passes in 2012, most of any NFL club. The packers have 28 drops, 2nd most in the NFC.

They have a chance to match or best a (consecutive loss) road futility mark against one team, so i expect them to lose gloriously. It would have been nice for this game to have been sandwiched between the rest of the early afternoon games. Oh well; they'll be putting the shitstorm on frontstreet tonight. :-/

My only hope for this game is that Aaron Rodgers shits the bed. I need him to have a bad game so I can get to the super bowl in my league.

i have a first round bye this week...which sucks cause i have adrian peterson.

The lions have been in every game this year, I don't see today being any different. Hopefully they won't let this one slip away at the end.

That would've been nice for me, my RBs went down the latter part of this season (McFadden and McCoy). Our GM didn't really know what he was doing as far as scheduling was concerned. He originally had it as two weeks for the semis and two weeks for the final round, then changed it to one week, which means it's do or die for me now.

I'm currently up 10, I have Victor Cruz and the Texans D, he has Rodgers and Jimmy Graham (standard scoring). I'm not expecting to win at this point, but anything is possible.

Its hard to believe but this statement is true. They need to learn how to finish.

Bad snow storm believe it or not favors detroit. Slightly better running game and running defense. That being said close game that we somehow lose even if we are winning the entire game.

After the Lions lose tonight, there will then only be 3 teams in the NFL with a record worse than Detroit's with only 3 weeks to go. Never in a million years would have predicted anything like that at the beginning of the year.

This season has to rank at least in top 5 of most disappointing seasons that I've witnessed.

It is hard to believe, but as bad as they've looked for a good portion of the time this season, all their losses the score was separated by one possession. When you think about it...this team is an extra defensive or offensive play away from being 12-0. It is a very small margin for error in today's NFL.

Megatron has eight 100-yard games this season.
14 players have recorded 9.
Torry Holt, Marvin Harrison, Moore and Charlie Hennigan all had 10. Michael Irvin with 11.

Inactive today for Lions are: Louis Delmas, Corey Williams, Jason Fox, Corey Hilliard, Kellen Moore, Lance Long and Ronnell Lewis.
Don Carey and Ricardo Silva will start at safety. Fairley will start at DT again. Kris Durham will make the start opposite CJ at receiver.

Packers inactives: RB James Starks, CB Charles Woodson, LB Clay Matthews, DE C.J. Wilson, LB Terrell Manning, WR Jordy Nelson, DE Mike Neal.

Packers are 19-6 all time on Sunday night....a winning percentage of 76% and the best in the NFL.

just saw the separate thread. nvm

Packers: enter tonight's game with a 20-game home winning streak vs Lions (last loss, 1991).
Rodgers: thrown TD pass in 35 straight games in Lambeau Field, 2nd-longest home TD streak in NFL history (Dan Marino 39).

3 things:

dont look stupid/embarrassed on national TV
get calvin yards
dont lose draft position

field looks nasty and the game hasnt even started yet lol. should be fun.
