Pretty light action here for this weekend series againts the cards. I wasn’t born yet when these 68 tigers won, it is kinda neat seeing many of them there with all the in game interviews and whatnot.

Dickerson and Gibby in the both tonight.

Boyd pitching a great game tonight

1 hit 11 k’s zero walks through 7

I was 11 and in 7th grade in Oct of '68. My Tigers fan homeroom teacher wheeled a color TV into our classroom to watch those WS weekday afternoon games vs the Cards, and I would run home to watch the finish of the Tigers' road games @ STL.

The very best part was the entire city celebrating their Game 7 WS victory that afternoon and early evening, I have never seen anything like it....including '84 and the Pistons or Red Wings championships.

Boyd ran out of gas in the 8th
3-1 one on no outs Wilson to relieve

Greene hacks up a furball with two outs in the 9th tied up now going to bottom 9

OMG.....Greene...had a feeling he would BlSv again.

Wild pitch walk off
Tigers win 4-3
59-83

And Greene gets the win? Pfffst
