Game 3: Lions @ Cardinals Thread

First we need a new GM, & coach. And down deep I still don't believe we take a QB.

If we were to pick #1 and we have a new coach and GM.....I would put it as a lock to grab Lawrence first overall.

The only other scenario I could see is trading it for a shit ton of picks.

I guess I wouldn't dislike that scenario seeing as how this team is so void of talent. What they SHOULD do when they are 0-4 or 0-5 is turn the team into the open market. Any reasonable offers for Golladay, Stafford, whoever, take them.

Every single coach and gm see how good stafford is. Plus stud de is way bigger need. The problem in quinn era isnt cap space

Yeah....you don?t see that in football though. I can see them moving Stafford.....but Walker, Golladay, Decker (contract), Swift, Okudah, and Flowers (contract) would stay.

And anyone moving would be at the end of the year. With the cap likely to go down next year because of lost revenue and not knowing when stadiums will be allowed to get back to 100%.....few teams will be taking on big contracts. Picks will be at a HUGE premium the next two years.

I feel like bashing the lions today, it’s unconscionable how bad the lions D is, the Quinn/fatty P experiment has been a huge failure and it all needs to be blown up completely. This pencil ear clown was supposed to be a defensive guru and he’s been at the bottom of the league the whole time he’s been here.. that is a steaming pile of dung beetle balls

Quin hasnt addressed the pass rush in several years...what makes you think he will next off season?

If they get the first overall pick, and take a DE, rather than a QB or move it... I guess I can't say I'd be surprised.

Other coaches might see detroit as a good opportunity with Lawrence.

Right now...no one wants to come here with stafford and his contract and we've been left with garbage to pick from.

decent first drive....killed by stafford sitting there doing nothing for 5 seconds until a fat slow DT wraps him up.

Play calling too conservative in the red zone OC to afraid to make a mistake

I think so. I think that is the ONE thing that could draw in a good coach. It will be a completely fresh start to create their own system and have a franchise QB to mold.

Good luck getting a new coach worth anything if the ownership tied them to Stafford.

Where was he supposed to throw it?

How many QBs just sit there and eat a sack?...roll left and make something happen...he had an entire side of the field. This is why he isnt elite...cant extend plays to save his life.

Man the Cardinals are enjoyable to watch. Tells you what an inventive coach with balls can do.
