Tigers vs. Royals Preview: Matthew Boyd aims to keep rolling against Kansas City.
Boyd has been the Tigers? best starter this season, but might be due for a little regression.

eeks...Boyd is going to have to pitch a gem!

I see that Martin is leading the team with 4 HRs. He has been a pleasant surprise.

3 SP sub 3ERA is nice but somehow they need to pitch longer. They get pulled too early. Boyd all but one of his starts have been less than 100 pitches, even when he pitches well. 102 is tops. They should be going 110-115.

Hicks has himself a game...too bad that no one else on O really has.

Tigers lose the game 4-2 and series 3-1.

Back to 5 under .500.

Yankees walkoff (and sweep) on Indians, scoring 4 in the bottom 9th.

No team left in the ALCD with a winning record.

Twins beat the White Sox, moving to a half-game ahead of Tigers for second, in what is by far the worst division in MLB. The last place 9-22 Sox, however, are not (or as yet) the worst team in baseball, as that dubious distinction is shared by the 8-25 ALED Orioles and NLCD Reds, both of whom are currently losing in the games that they are playing this evening.

O's lose to A's 2-1...Marlins beat Reds 8-5.
