Game #36: Detroit 118 Portland 115 Final

Pistons playing terrible defense first half. Trail 60-51. They were down 22 ish at one point.

Seems like every darn time we get the game tied we can’t get a stop.
Blazers up 90-88 end of the third as Pistons cut the nine point half time lead.

Every time the pistons get a lead they just don’t play defense. They were up 4. Now up 2 with. The ball and 49.5 seconds left. That play to Ayton was just to easy.

Duren jams back a Cade miss . Detroit back up 4 with 37.2 left. Simons has killed us. Play some d guys.

Blazers miss. Detroit ball.

Bleasley was fouled. He was 0-8 and hit his only bucket when we needed it . Makes only 1-2 ft. Simons hits another damn 3…Beasley back at the line. Again only makes 1-2. Beasley gets the steal Pistons win 118-115.,

Box score

Look at Tim’s crazy stat line. 10 for 15 (6-9) from three.
Zero assists, and zero Rebounds, zero blocks, zero steals.

This was Detroit’s 3 game in 4 nights. They were down 22 points in this game. Tim was hot shooting. Nice comeback even if the defense was subpar.
