A few weeks ago, I wondered why the Tigers hadn't DFAed Jones yet, but looks like he got his mechanics tweaked. Hope its permanent.

On that same day, on the radio broadcast Dan Dickerson once again comes through with the juicy details saying, ?One of the Tigers? super scouts Scott Bream says ?There?s a guy in Arizona who couldn?t hit a lick and played really good defense, Nick Ahmed.? They thought maybe he (Jones) could benefit from the same swing change.?

Just as surprising @ the plate has been Brandon Dixon, seems like he gets a clutch hit more often than not. His BABIP is a likely unsustainable .415 though.

We can?t complain about jones anymore and no more jones Mendoza liners nice! We can still harp on Lloyd though cuz yup the new and improved jones was all NOT legendary Lloyd..legendary Lloyd should have been fired a long time ago
